The LAST PLEDGE

Welcome to Thompson University, the oldest and greatest HBCU in the south! You have attended TU for the last two years and made a name for yourself on the quad. And you are starting the fall semester of your third year as the new President of the Omega Omega chapter of Theta Mu Zeta Sorority Inc. Zeee-Eeeet! 

Your chapter is preparing to cross a class of new pledges to join Omega Omega before the current members graduate. As chapter President, it is your job to get the pledges across the burning sands to their probate. The only issue is your pledges keep dropping from the line! Discover the culprit before the membership intake process (MIP) is over or risk Omega Omega being suspended. Indefinitely.

The Last Pledge (TLP) is a GMless, narrative TTRPG for 1 or more players. TLP is hack of The Last Doctor by wym lawson. Inspired by HBCUS, D9 Greek-Life, and media like School Daze, Drumline, and All American, TLP puts a thrilling spin on Black collegiate life. Step onto the yard of Thompson University and live out your days as a college student at the most elite HBCU in the country.

PLAY TOOLS:

2. Dice (1d6, 1d8, 1d10) or digital dice
3. Standard Deck of Cards

PRINT INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Download the pdf file.
2. Select 'Print' pdf on US Letter.
3. Adjust settings to:
   • 100% or Actual Size
   • 2 pages per sheet
   • Print double sided, flip on short edge
4. Fold each page in half.
5. Stack pages in order and bind together.

Note: The pages are already in order to be printed double-sided. Be sure to download the file titled 'booklet' for the correct pages.

This game is created based on experiences of Black communities and you may encounter content that is unfamiliar to you. I encourage you to use the opportunity to be curious and research the rich history/culture of Black Americans. Playing this game is not permission to appropriate Black culture.
